Luton Town have confirmed the late window departures of midfielder Lamine Fanne and full-back Reuell Walters.
Fanne has made a permanent deal to join Italian Serie B side Venezia, while Walters departs to join the Hatters’ fellow League One outfit Blackpool.
The double departure continues a busy window of departures at Kenilworth Road, with Lasse Nordas, Millenic Alli, Zack Nelson, Ethon Archer, Joe Gbode, Jerry Yates and Christ Makosso all making loan departures from the Hatters this month.
Fanne’s deal is a permanent transfer to the side from Venice, with the Spanish midfielder signing a four-and-a-half year deal with the side currently sat 6th in the Serie B table.
The midfielder had joined Luton in 2024 from Swedish side AIK, initially staying in Stockholm on loan before making his Luton debut in January 2025. In all, he made 40 appearances for the Hatters in all competitions.
Meanwhile, defender Walters becomes the latest loan exit, with the full-back joining Blackpool in a deal confirmed 2 days after Luton played Blackpool at Kenilworth Road.
Walters’ deal with the Seasiders is to the end of the current season. The defender had primarily spent the current campaign as a back-up option with the Hatters, making just 7 appearances in all competitions.
