Black Eyed Peas to headline second night of SMK Live Festival at Stadium MK

Pop act Black Eyed Peas have been announced as headliners of the second night at SMK Live Festival at Stadium MK in Milton Keynes.

The festival at Stadium MK will see a new night take place on Sunday 28th June, with Black Eyes Peas headlining a bill that also includes Cat Burns, Jaylen Ngonda and Maverick Sabre, along with Big Narstie as an event host.

The addition of a second night follows the previously announced night on Saturday 27th June, which is headlined by Basement Jaxx.

Tickets are now on sale for both the initially announced 27th show, the newly announced 28th show and a combined 2 day ticket for both nights, which is being pitched as the first such-event in the stadium’s history.

Headline act The Black Eyes Peas are a highly regarded pop act, having won six Grammy awards and achieved sales of 35 million albums & 120 million singles. Their repertoire includes hit songs such as Where Is The Love, Boom Boom Pow, I Gotta Feeling and Rock That Baby. Their slot in Milton Keynes is confirmed as a UK festival exclusive.

Also announced for Day Two is London-raised singer-songwriter Cat Burns. Burns is a triple-platinum-selling artist and the recipient of three BRIT nominations and a BBC Sound Poll shortlist, as well as a Mercury Prize nomination for her 2024 debut album early twenties. In 2025, she released her second album How to be Human. She also earned recognition as a contestant on the Celebrity Traitors last autumn.

Also appearing is Jalen Ngonda’s riveting approach, who has been lauded by the likes of Snoop Dogg, Jill Scott, Kehlani, Olivia Dean and Elton John, the last of whom predicted last Summer that “he is going to be a huge star”. The British-based American combines rock, soul and R&B into his sound, while in his career, he achieved a UK top 10 single with Come Around & Love Me, and was described by Rolling Stone last year as the “leading soul revivalist of this decade”.

Maverick Sabre is the other confirmed performer so far, with the singer’s breakout debut album Lonely Are The Brave earned him a BRITs Rising Star nomination. He has since released four more acclaimed albums and had huge hits like Slow Down with Jorja Smith.

Hosting and performing at Sunday’s festivities will be star Big Narstie, who has previously won BAFTAs, RTS Awards, a record number of Urban Music Awards, presented his own chat show for five successful seasons on national TV, and being the “go to” guest for many of the highest rated shows including Michael McIntyre’s The Wheel, Big Fat Quiz, Would I Lie To You, Good Morning Britain, Celebrity Bake Off etc., as well as releasing Top 10 hit singles.

Street-food villages, activation zones, live DJs and singers, and two stages packed with amazing artists are also planned as part of the event, with hospitality options also available.
