Police have launched a manhunt after a woman was stabbed several times in Coventry.
West Midlands Police said officers were called to an address in Swanswell Street just before 4.30am on Wednesday.
They found the woman, who is in her 20s, with several stab wounds.
She was taken to hospital, where she remains in a serious condition.
The force said that following enquiries, Deara Sadiq was the prime suspect.
The 21-year-old is from the Coventry area.
