A leading Milton Keynes business figure has been announced as keynote speaker for the next Social Circle MK networking event this March.
John Cove, Chair of Destination Milton Keynes and Chair of the Bletchley and Fenny Stratford Town Deal Board, will address local business leaders at the event on Wednesday 11 March at Challenge House in Bletchley.
The evening session, starting at 5.30pm on Sherwood Drive, will focus on the extensive business opportunities emerging in Bletchley and across the wider region. John is set to share his leadership insight and outline how significant ongoing investment, combined with Bletchley’s strategic position at the heart of the Oxford–Cambridge Arc, is creating major opportunities for growth.
Speaking ahead of the event, John said he was looking forward to engaging with local businesses and exchanging ideas that can help drive further development and investment in Bletchley and beyond.
His presentation will explore why Bletchley is increasingly important within the regional economy, highlighting regeneration, inward investment and the area’s role within the Oxford–Cambridge growth corridor.
John brings extensive experience to the event, having held a number of high-profile roles including former Director of MK Dons Football Club and Chair of MK Dons Sport & Education Trust. His previous senior positions include Group Director at Milton Keynes Council and Director of Milton Keynes Play Association. He has also served as Chair of The Denbigh Alliance and Chair of national charity StreetGames.
This will be the third Social Circle MK event hosted at the award-winning serviced office space Challenge House, part of the Landmark property portfolio. The networking evening is open to anyone interested in Bletchley’s evolving business landscape, offering opportunities to connect, gain insight and explore future prospects regardless of sector or company size.
Navraj Johal, Chief Marketing Officer at Landmark, said John’s experience and commitment to the area make him an ideal keynote speaker. He added that the event will give business owners and decision-makers valuable perspective on investment, regeneration and what it means for organisations operating in and around Milton Keynes.
