MK Dons have announced plans of their first Community Day, which can see fans claim free tickets for their upcoming game against Harrogate Town.

The match at Stadium MK on Saturday 7th March will see tickets for the game at Stadium MK made available to claim for free for anyone across the Milton Keynes City region or those who have a purchasing history with the club.

The way fans can do so is through the MK Dons website, with terms and conditions available.

MK Dons described the move as being led by their Chairman Fahad Al Ghanim, and Chief Executive Officer, Neil Hart. They also described it as, “a significant gift from the club to the people of Milton Keynes, with Community Day 2026 intended as a celebration of our fantastic and truly unique city.”

As part of the move, MK Dons said that they will be working with Official Club Partners on the distribution of tickets, including the likes of Suzuki GB, Equity Energies, Stadium Support Services, Pennings Group, Safenames, Brioche Pasquier, David Lloyd, Reebok, TSYS, Milton Keynes City Council, Milton Keynes College and many others.

They also declared they would be engaging with some of the largest businesses and organisations in Milton Keynes, offering complimentary tickets to the likes of Oracle Red Bull Racing, Santander, Network Rail, the Volkswagen Group, Daimler Truck, DHL Supply Chain, Huel and others, along with tickets being made available to over 100 primary schools, secondary schools, and academies in Milton Keynes, marking the club’s most significant engagement with schools in the city to date.

MK Dons have also offered tickets to several different churches, mosques and faith groups in the city. The club also said that they will support some of the biggest charities in MK, with the likes of Milton Keynes Hospital Charity and Willen Hospice being offered hundreds of complimentary tickets.

The club’s Chairman Fahad Al Ghanim said, “I’m absolutely thrilled to be offering complimentary tickets to the people of Milton Keynes for Community Day 2026.

“This is a significant gift from us to you, but one we feel shows our intent to open up MK Dons and our fantastic stadium to as many people in the city as possible.

“Since purchasing MK Dons at the beginning of last season, providing the community of Milton Keynes with the best possible version of the football club has been at the forefront of our thinking.

“We want the people of Milton Keynes to think of MK Dons as their club, and I can’t think of a better way to do that than opening up our doors to everyone in the city.

“I’d like to thank everyone at the club for all their hard work in bringing this initiative to fruition, and we look forward to seeing you all on Saturday, 7th March, come on you Dons!”

CEO Neil Hart added, “This is a remarkable statement from our ownership group, and one that shouldn’t be taken lightly. It’s an unbelievable gesture to the people of Milton Keynes.

“We’re not afraid to do something a little bit different, and it’s our belief that the people of MK will really respond to it. We will now begin the process to engage proactively with community groups, businesses and stakeholders across the city to maximise this opportunity.

“We’re also delighted to confirm Arena MK and the Ballroom in the West Stand will be open for this fixture to assist with the increased attendance. These areas will have a wide range of food & beverage vendors as well as plenty of activities for all the family, opening from 12pm on the day. We will confirm details in our supporter guide ahead of the fixture.

“We are also delighted to confirm that the entire lower bowl will be open to home supporters, which includes making available nearly 20,000 complimentary tickets to the city. Away supporters for this fixture will be moved into the upper bowl in the Northeast corner.

“We’d like to thank the Supporters’ Board and wider supporter groups for their support as we continue to make every effort to engage with the City of Milton Keynes and grow our attendances.

“The team at Stadium MK have worked really hard to pull this together. We’re all so excited by this Gift of Football to the city, and we look forward to welcoming you all very soon.”
