MKIAC is a national award-winning charity and Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation, established in the wake of the 9/11 attacks to promote understanding, cultural exchange, and unity across diverse communities through the transformative power of arts and education.

MKIAC's mission is to enrich communities by exploring and celebrating Islamic arts, heritage, and culture. Their values include inclusivity, a practice-led approach, curiosity and experimentation, collaboration, open-minded engagement, and sustainability and hope.
